Jack Malone is the head of Manhattan's Missing Persons Squad of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. The function of his elite team is to reconstruct a "Day of Disappearance" timeline that details the 24 hours prior to the victim's vanishing. Every second counts as they race to gather clues, track down leads and interview suspects in order to discover if the victim has been abducted, murdered, commited suicide, a kidnap victim or another scenario. By learning who the victim is, the path to where they are is more defined. Anthony LaPaglia stars as Jack Malone. Eric Close, Enrique Murciano, Marianne Jean-Baptiste and Poppy Montgomery co-star as the special agents on Jack's team.
